, but I'm not sure how much longer I want/can continue at this pace. Any helpful ideas or thoughts would geatly be appreciated.

Aug 10, '06 by picumanCurrently returned to CCT try Public Health. Alot of us older nurses work as PHNs. You coud think of teaching LVN students or the clinical portion of RN students. -

Trauma case manager, critical care transport nurse, and my newset job ED RN Clinical Nurse Educator. I must say you have a ton of experience why not spend it on some of the new nurses coming into practice? I remember doing the EMT and medic clinical training. The last thing I wanted to think about was being in a car accident and looking up and seeing a medic that I flunked in clincals, that some ma and pa ambulance hired. I know it can still happen, but there are going to be so many new nurses hitting the ER's soon.....One of these days the patient they care for might be you!!!
