I am looking for information about how to get hired as a Transport Nurse. What certifications or previous work expereince is needed/required? How prevalent is the need? If anyone has any info, please e-mail me @ Sinkers16d@aol.com. Thanks!

Default Each State is different
As a medic in South Carolina I know an RN can "test out" on the state exam, or used to be able to. Many states have gone to the National Registry for there standards, thats for the EMS side of the house, and the NR cuts no slack if you didn't go to a school you can't test. The best thing that you can do is call your State dept of health and ask them what you need to become qualified. I hope this helps!
