New grad in NY, ADN with BS in non-nursing field. I'm working nights, which is 20% differential for weekdays and 30% for weekends. Depending on if I do 8 or 12 hr weekends and holidays worked etc, my salary will end up being between $57-58,000 the first year. Salary goes up significantly after that first year.

That's fine. I just mention the BSN cause some places want it, others don't care. I just want an idea of where to direct my search mainly. Thanks for the info! :)
Oh I understand. They prefer it here too! All ADJ new hard hires have to sign a contract saying will have our BSN within 3 years to maintain employment.

Most of the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area hospitals pay in the $21-22 pay range, with like $4 diffs for nights and/or weekends. They are new grad friendly, but with student loans, living could be a little easier

Graduated in 2012 with BSN. Starting hourly pay in Austin, TX for new grad in Magnet hospital is low to mid 20s. Night differential, add $4. Weekend differential, add $2. Same pay for new grad ADNs. Good benefits: 403(b), matching, medical, dental, PTO, holiday, tuition reimbursement. RN residency for RNs less than 1 year exp is very competitive. We no longer hire GNs or LVNs. Overall, great place to work. Excellent opportunities for advancement. Recently got 8% added to base pay as part of clinical ladder.

I like this thread better though because most of the people posting in the other one have been nurses for a while. It's nice to know starting salaries.
