I would wear dress pants, heels, and a dress shirt. I always save the suit for an actual interview, but you never know who you might run into, or who will see you filling out the app. Good luck!

IMHO, you could never go wrong with a solid colored pair of dress pants and a nice blouse. If you are in cold weather your coat will cover the blouse anyways. I'd say no jeans.

Business-like make-up, no loud perfume and a prayer. Good luck

More important than what you wear is how you present yourself. Try to display confidence etc but not as a "know it all"...managers tend to be turned off by that.

How you dress will not get you the job in it self but if you look sloppy it surely wouldn't help. My advice, just wear what you would to maybe an informal family function...dressy is not necessary IMHO...sometimes can make a person feel and look uncomfortable.

    Good luck!

I always wear scrubs (but I don't do dress clothes); i've NEVER been turned down for a RN position.

    Good luck!

I'd wear something that always makes you feel good. I'd tend to go with something similar to what the others suggest, dark slacks, smart blouse and heeled closed in shoes, maybe if you have something close to what other staff wear to give them an idea of how you look in uniform. Make-up definitely but minimum jewellery. If you have clothes like this and they fit well and you feel professional in them it will show. I always had a favourite navy suit, it looked good and I always felt as though I looked the part. Good luck and hope it goes well.

You could end up getting an interview that day, so wear what you would wear to an actual interview.

Agree with Suzanne. I would never show for an interview wearing scrubs, but some people do, still, while your clothes may not get you a job, dressing in a manner that is inappropriate may actually not get you a job.
I've always worn a suit, and I've always been offerred a job as well.
