Phone Interview

Hey guys! So I will be going for a phone interview sometime this week and I am pretty nervous. Has anyone been on one? What kind of questions do they ask? I know its a quicker version so I feel like it might be straight forward. Please let me know!! I am so nervous but excited too!!

Default Re: Phone Interview
The phone interview I had for a Level 3 primarily cardiac PICU involved me sitting at home on my couch in my pyjamas (it was THAT early in the morning!). I was on speaker phone with the patient care manager and the unit educator. They asked me some general questions about my education and experience then tag-teamed me with clinical questions about situations that I would encounter on their unit. They based their questions on my experience and so didn't ask me any tough questions about cardiac surgery; they did ask a lot of questions about trauma care and septic shock, since I did have that experience. Then they asked me some prioritization questions and some interpersonal behavioral questions. It lasted nearly an hour and at the end I was asked when I thought I could be ready to start. (It ended up being 11 months, but that's another story.)
