- Aug 11, '12 by kammie'smomA friend of mine interviewed on Thursday after my interview on Tuesday. They already called her with a job offer on Friday.. meanwhile, I haven't heard anything back yet... I'm totally discouraged at this point because she only had a 24 hr wait period. I wonder if I got in... haven't got any emails or calls yet... I'm praying I get in... God help me !!!!
- Aug 11, '12 by babigrlYeah interviewed on Tuesday at 12 and haven't heard anything yet just that I'd hear by Thursday or Friday. Still staying hopeful at this point. I didn't know they would've been making them within 24 hrs but I'm not surprised by it at all kinda heard the same thing about someone getting and offer on Wednesday
- Aug 11, '12 by rosern1Oh no! They made calls already.... Smh... I havent even been interviewed yet ... lol
- Aug 11, '12 by acsrnDid your friend get a job offer for the critical care residency or a different one?
- Aug 12, '12 by HopingICUOh my gosh, I can't stop thinking about my interview. Do any of you know if they make offers before you take the Medication exam? I am not taking mine until next week, as I still have clinical and couldn't miss any more time. I have to drive from out of town again.... I hope not taking it when I interviewed doesn't hurt my chances.
- Aug 12, '12 by RoMoFoIm not sure about if they offer jobs without passing the medication test or hire may be pending upon completion of your math test. Where do you live now? That stinks having to drive from outta town more than once. Are you going to relocate if you get the job?
- Aug 12, '12 by HopingICUOh yes, I would have to relocate lol. It is about a 5 hour drive from where I live now. I really like what Parkland has to offer new grads. I would love to go there more than anywhere else. We don't have a trauma level 1 hospital residency program at any of our hospitals here. My best friend just moved to DFW for DO school, and I have some friends in the Dallas area too.
- Aug 13, '12 by RoMoFoWhen are you taking your math test? You interviewed for the SICU right? Hopefully you find out something soon. Driving five hours here and back would be ridonkulous! LoL Parkland is a really good hospital so keeping my fingers crossed and trying to stay positive at this point!
