most useful nursing tools for new nurses


any recommendations on brand and type of scissors, compression stocking, shoes, watches. Any ideas of working well with preceptor. Thanks.

I know it's not on your list, but my must-have tool is a pocket calculator!! I'd be miserable without that thing

I second the calculator! I would also carry tape in your pocket and a pen light especially if you work nights its like a tiny flashlight. I use compression knee highs instead of stockings, I hate the feel of tights. Good Luck!
