Louisiana Student Nurse

I live outside of New Orleans and was curious.....a few hospitals job posting say "we accept New Graduates". Can you work in Louisiana as a new grad RN while waiting to take boards? I tried looking on LSBN website and its all greek to me. How is the job market for RN's? I am a medical assistant and a CNA and have applied for many positions while going to school and no call backs!
