Im so happy right now that i cannot think straight. I felt like i did not know a thing there. i kind of guessed some of my answers cos i was so unsure. I was so scared and frustrated with the exam that i got up to go to the bathroom like 3 times in the two and a half hour period. The exam cut of at 75 and to be honest i felt like i failed. I couldnt walk straight and stumbled into my car. I got into my car..parked a few miles away and started to sob. I called my sister and told her that the exam was the hardest thing and i tink that i failed. I said i must have done so bad that the computer shut off at 75 questions. Anyway i passed and i start work tommorrow cos i didnt want to walk in there without knowing where i stand. Im still in shock right now but if i can give any advice to anyone.....ill say... The Kaplan class really helped me alot. the Question Trainer package was awesome. The saunders book was also good but the Kaplan question was the closest u can ever get to the Nclex. I definately prefered the Saunders Textbook to the Kaplan Course book!

Woo-hoo! Congrats, RN!!!:balloons:

LizzieJ, RN! How great! Congratulations! This is the news I wanted to hear since I take the NCLEX tomorrow am at 8. I keep telling myself that I will pass the test, that I have the knowledge and capabilities to do it! It's just so hard when so much is riding on this one test. Of the 50 people I graduated with, 39 people have taken it, and only 1 person hasn't passed. I believe she didn't pass because she really was OVERANXIOUS about the test and it threw her. I took LVN boards two years ago, but I don't think I was this nervous. Hoping and praying all will go well. Thanks for the post!;)

I felt the same way. Mine shut off at 75 and I thought "NOOOOOOOOO!" I didn't feel like I had answered enough correctly to have passed. I took it about 2 weeks after I graduated figuring that if I didn't know it after two years of studying, that I wasn't going to know it by cramming anymore. We had that 4 day, 8 hour study class, and I don't honestly think that helped any. It just bored me out of my gourd. What helped my more was the practice test CDs I got from my school. Also a couple of pass RN books I had. I don't remember the titles now though. Good luck on your new career. Now you find out how much they DIDN'T teach you in school.;)
