Thank you for your advice! And I'm so glad you are loving your start there so far! How long after the interview did you hear back from them? Hope your second weeks goes great too, please keep us posted!
Hello! I'm so sorry I just saw this! So I heard back 5-8 days after my interview. I received an e-mail and was sitting in school studying, about to have a nervous breakdown getting ready for finals and it made my day! It wasn't to long after, they know pretty much right away how they feel about you and then they talk to the people you do your share time with.

    Hi everyone!!
I recently accepted a job at JHH in the nurse residency program on the MICU and I start February 06, 2017. I wanted to reach out and see if anyone else is starting then/ or around that date? Also what units, when your taking NCLEX and how your feeling nearing the end of school?!
did you get to choose a start date?

Hi RNGrad16, thanks for creating this page! I'm also curious to see if there is anyone else starting around this time. How was your semester? I'm definitely excited to be done! As you know, I'll be in Peds but don't start until June. I'm thinking about taking the NCLEX either this month or next. What about you?

There was a mutual agreement between the manager and I about my start date. So I would say yes I got to choose it. You can discuss with them during your interview when you would prefer to start.

Just an update! The recruiter emailed me and asked if I plan to be enrolled in an RN To BSN program. And I emailed her back and said yes in the fall. So I applied on 3/13 so it took about a week to hear back from them

The recruiter immediately emailed me back! I have an interview and a share time shadow day. I have to send 3 dates that work for me as far as interviewing to the Medical Progressive Unit! Any advice !! That was FAST AND I'm excited and nervous at the same time

Congrats on your interview! My advice is to practice generic interview questions before hand. Pack a separate bag with your scrubs and shoes inside for your share time. Try not to be too nervous, you got this!!

Hi, I will be interviewing pretty soon at JHH. I am currently living in NC . I've been trying to do some research on the unit to prepare myself. Does anyone have any tips for the interview ? That would be greatly appreciated !

Congrats !! I have an interview next month too. I have to fly in as well. What unit ?? I've been doing a lot of research on JHH, the unit and what they do and mock interview questions as well as YouTube for nurse interviews!
