Job offer, than more job offers

I work in an area that is tough to get your first RN job. I had to hustle for every interview. I finally got interviews. I received a per diem job. Then a full Time job offer. And now my higher choices are calling for interviews. Because I need benefits I am not in a position to say no.

Now that these other places of employment are calling, at what point is it rude to say I have chosen elsewhere and take a different offer? And what if soon after I get hired, I get an actual offer elsewhere, do i just out my notice in?

The job I soon start at is lower on the scale of pay, and lacks opportunities to get me where I want to be. The benefit is that it's a solid offer, and I am actively using my license.

Any thoughts or advice is appreciated.

Similar situation happened to me. I accepted a position because it was the first one my way and I had multiples after accepting that position. I found out the place I accepted wasnt for me 3 weeks in and I am now looking for somewhere else to go. I already put in my notice effective today and I dont feel bad not one bit. The place was having some "Loose your license" type staffing and patient related issues going on.

I haven't even started yet, but I had heard reports its not the best place to work. so we will see how it goes. I have to what is best for me and my family in the end.

Yes that is true but longetivity is important as well. In my case alot of the reason they paid more had to do with them being on salary and no weekend differential and you actually working 40 hours a week instead of 36.
