I finally made it!!!

  1. I finally did it, after 2 years and a lot of stress, I graduated from nursing school today..March 10th 2003!!! YEAH! Only one more hurdle to overcome---State boards. I am so relieved its over. I actually graduated in December with my class, but had to re-take my critical care course, as I failed the comprehensive exam last time. So today was the final comp for the course I had so much anxiety, as I had a lot riding on this test, even though I had a high B going into the test I was scared, because I had a low B last time and did so bad on the comp I did not get my 75% theory grade. But much to my relief I did it this time. I am now among the GN's. Hope to take my boards in 2-3 weeks . This posting is more of a emotional release for me--Hope I didnt bore you-Thanks-Darci:roll

Not boring,, we have all had that emotional relief. Now you think just making the grade and getting done with school is an emotional relief, wait till boards and see what kind of reaction you have when you finish those.

Im sure youll do fine on boards,, study hard and Good luck!

    Good Work, Darci !

I remember that feeling well ! It was only in December that I, too, became a GN. What a feeling ! Took my State Boards last Monday.. am chewing my nails and fingers to nubs... wait 'til you have to go through THAT !!! No emotional release 'til you get that letter in your hand. and know one way or the other. KNOW that you know that you KNOW !!!

I thought I would feel GREAT once the boards were over and behind me... not yet. Not 'til I get that letter. This is the WORST 2-3 weeks out of all my past 3 years !!!

Good luck on your boards.. better yet, STUDY HARD !
