How's the Chicago Job Market?

The job market is pretty much at a standstill here. I work for NorthShore University (Evanston, Glenbrook, Highland Park and Skokie Hospitals). Their next new grad orientation will be in October, if they hire. They have an awesome 12 week program!! I can't say enough about it. Check out northshore.org.

Some other hospitals are Advocate (they own several large ones), although I hear they have a hiring freeze too.

You can always try Resurrection (reshealth.org). They own several hospitals and long-term care facilities in the area and are always hiring. I'm not sure if they have a new grad program.

Other large hospitals consist of Northwestern Memorial and Rush downtown.
