How long are you waiting?

  1. Between graduation and taking the NCLEX? I graduated on 16 May and I'm scheduled to take the NCLEX on the 19th of June. I'm studying pretty diligently, but I'm oh so nervous.

    Hey! there Angelica
Dont get nervous about this. The main thing to do is keep cool , heads up and say "I know I can do this, I know can".

Are you doing the NCLEX-RN? or LVN? But either one is the same way. Just keep studying the NCLEX and do the tests. On the wrong ones you miss, go back and studying hard again. It's going to be a tuff journey till you get to June 19th, but you have to keep your head up high and have A LOT of faith :angel2: in yourself.

Good luck Angelica, keep me posted on how you are doing!!!

I graduated May 18th and I am going to drive myself crazy with this I just know but I am not taking boards until late july or early August. I WISH I could take them soon but I don't have the $200 right now to pay and I will start working June 9th. So once I get the $200 I will send it in. I guess at Least it gives me a chance to do many, many practice questions. The lady at the NCLEX workshop I went to at the student nurse convention said you should practice 4,000-5,000 questions. Some people who took NCLEX already thought that was ridiculous and said they only practiced 1000 and they were OK. I will probably end up doing about 3,000-4,000.

Don't worry about it you will do fine and you will PASS!!!!!!!!

I graduate June 8 and start work the 16th as a tech. I just sent in my stuff for boards. I have to take the boards before the 16th of July in order to keep my job. This state only allows for a 30 day nurse tech position.

I passed boards!!! The machine cut off at 157 and I freaked. I didn't find out until today (after a 10 day wait) that I am officially an RN.

    Good luck to everyone else!

I'm taking the NCLEX on July 9th, which gives me about three weeks to study. I'm going to a study group tonight in fact to study.
