Good Private Health Insurance?

I got offered a good job at a rehabilitation center. I was so excited that they called me,but, had to turn it down when I found out that the health insurance cost over $1,000/month and they didn't offer dependent coverage. I was so sad because I really wanted that job. Does anyone know of a good private insurance that isn't too overly expensive? $1,000/month is ridiculous!
