Re: Ethics Pre-Employment Quiz?
LOL - there's a ton of Psych research out there that clearly points out how useless these types of 'tests' are, including consistent evidence that the vast majority of people lie on 'truth' tests. People who actually do respond truthfully - admitting to petty theft, etc. - show up as 'outliers' who probably wouldn't fit in with the rest of the workforce.
On the other hand, I think it is extremely important to understand the ethical philosophy of a potential employer. This is especially important if you are contemplating employment with a faith-based organization. If their basic principles do not jibe with yours, it won't be a good match. For instance, what is the organizational philosophy surrounding beginning of life & end of life issues? If they have a specific decision-making model that is used for operational issues, how does it incorporate ethical principles?
But as for your original question - nope, haven't heard of anyone using Quizzes focusing on Ethics.
