Just worried.
Took boards and passed Sept 15th, now everyone thinks you are smarter

Hey, its perfectly normal to be scared about being on your own. Sometimes it feels like you've been thrown in the deep end. Just use your orientation time to its fullest! I hope your preceptor is supportive and a good teacher. A good orientation will help you get a good start. The most important thing about being on your own (and while you are being orientated) is ASK, ASK, ASK if you don't know/are unsure

. You'll eventually figure out the best people to ask about certain things, but always ASK QUESTIONS. It's better/safer for you and your patients. And if anybody gives you lip about asking too many questions, well then they are not keeping the best interest of you and your patient in mind. The learning never ends! Good Luck.
And btw, Congrats on passing boards! That's an accomplishment in and of itself!
