California NCLEX test takers

HI, i just took my boards in ca and i am still waiting, how many days did it take exactly for you to find out that you passed? i am getting really worried

It took me almost 1 1/2 weeks to find out. But my friends who have taken it recently have been finding out they passed in about 2 days. Go to california board of registered nurses website and click on "online services" then click "license verification" and type in your name and county. If your name comes up, you are an RN!! Good luck..and keep us posted.

nrs lala land, i answered 121 and failed, i have been so depressed. i know the material and i am just not getting it. my boss told me to take the time off to prepare and then said she would not hire me back as a med/surg nurse, wow that made me feel real good. anyway, trying to figure out what i should do now. any feedback will be greatly appreciated. i feel like such a loser.

I am so sorry to here that you didnt pass. Was this the first time you took the test? Did you take Kaplan? If not I would highly recommend it. It is supposed to help with test taking skills and since you know the material, maybe that's all you need. I can imagine that you are pretty upset right now but try not to be hard on yourself. Think of the accomplishment you have made by passing nursing school. That is a huge step towards your future and it is a very worthy and difficult goal that you achieved! I know this kind of sounds cliche' but I believe that everything works out for a reason. Who knows? There may be things in your life that need your attention more than a new nursing job at this point in time. School may have been such a stressor that maybe you are meant to relax a little before becoming more stressed in a new job. I am not trying to speculate because I don't know you or what is going on in your personal life. But try to see this experience for more than it is. TRy to find something positive about this situation. IT may seem difficult at first. You are definately not a loser. Quitters are losers and I know you aren't a quitter! Study the NCLEX review book/ CD ROM too. One good thing about the NCLEX is you can take it as many times as you need to. Stay focused and try to stay positive. Tell yourself you will pass the next one...visualize passing in your mind...visualize your name with the letters RN behind it while you are studying....That's what I did...I wrote on a piece of paper in big RED letters my name, RN, "PASS--YES!!" and put taped this paper in front of my computer so everytime I went to study I would see this.

Hope some of my advice helped. DO something nice for yourself.

No this was my second time. For someone who does not know me very you hit the nail on the head. thank you sooooo much for supportive message, i really needed that. I have been sooooo depressed lately and now i am really sick.

i took the exam last march 24 and it stopped at 75 and i dont know if i pass. ohhhhh i'm so nervous and i cant wait for the results. i just check today which is 3/25 the results on online but may name did'nt come out. does is it means that i did'nt passed. pls. guys need your respond and comfort here and need your prayers. i know i did my best to pass that nclexand i study hard for the exam . they say that if you have easy questions in the exam is like you end up failing coz i feel that some of my questions i answer is like easy for me. is it true? ohhhhh i'm losing hope here . pls guys need ur prayers!!!!!thanks!!! :crying2:

BREATHE and RELAX.....You just took your NCLEX yesterday. It takes about 3 days to find out if you passed here in California. Give yourself some time. I know the waiting is the hardest part. I will definately keep you in my prayers. It is very scary. Just hang on a couple days..YOU can DO it!!
