ATI RN Comprehensive Predictor

Does anyone know how accurate these predictions are? Supposedly, if you get over a 70% on this test, you have a 99% chance of passing the NCLEX-RN. Any opinions on this?

I got a 98% on the ATI predictor. I paid for a Saunder's NCLEX-RN online review and failed the predictor with 75 questions. I took the NCLEX-RN a week later and passed with 75 questions.

I take the RN predictor at the end of March. My goal now is to go through the ATI med surg book and make flashcards as well as focus on the areas of review from other ATI tests I have taken.

The ATI exams are always easier than the practice exams... and in my opinion, NCLEX was easier than the comprehensive predictor!! I mean think about it. You take the practice exams first and score low... so now you study twice as hard bc u think you will do terrible. Now you do well on the exam bc you were so well prepared. Same thing with NCLEX... the practice questions are so hard to get you to over-prepare and do well on the exam. ATI only makes money if ppl pass NCLEX, so this is how they work it in my opinion. I always got around 60-70% on the practice exams and ended up with mostly level 3's on the exams. Got a 58% on the practice comprehensive predictor and ended up with a 98% chance of passing NCLEX on the real exam. To finish it all off I passed NCLEX with 75 questions. :yeah:

Interesting! I wonder how accurate the ATI is for the nclex? I feel like ATI questions are easier to understand than Nclex questions. But that is just my opinion. What does everybody else think?

I agree with you 100% about the ATI. Our school takes off 3% from our final grade if we don't pass the first time around. You're out of the program if you fail it the second time. UG!

LET ME KNOW IF ANYONE NEEDS REVIEW MATERIAL TO STUFF FOR ATI. Email me at [email protected]

To all of you who are going to take the test, good luck with your studying. It is hard but totally doable. YOU CAN DO IT!!!

:)

I failed it. Twice. Luckily my school only used it as a measuring tool and I could still graduate. I took Kaplan and passed NCLEX 1st try with 75 questions. So IMO, not a good predictor.

**During the program ATI counted as 10% of our total grade. I always made 2-3 on those. There was something about that stupid comprehensive predictor that I just couldn't get! lol
