I'm thinking of applying to the certificate program for Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography at Kaplan college in North Hollywood, but the website doesn't give much information, and the admissions representative hasn't gotten back to me yet. Does anyone have experience with this program, or this school? How much does it cost to go through the program? I'm hoping to start my RN-BSN program in the Fall 2010, so I'm applying to 3 schools right now (Cal State Northridge, Cal State Bakersfield, and San Diego State). But the problem is that I have 3 more classes to take in order to transfer. The application says they will not consider applications that do not have all the class requirements met by Spring 2010. I can't take these 3 classes Sring 2010 because I will be in the last semester of nursing school and it would be too much so most likely I will be taking them Fall 2010. So my question is, if I apply now and am not accepted due to those classes I need, will I have to submit a new application completely next Fall when I'm done? Or should I just wait and apply next Fall when I completely finish and try to get in Fall 2011? I new to the website and am glad I found it. Lots of info. I am looking for a nursing school. I recently went to visit Pacific College in Costa Mesa. Everything looked ok, except for financial aid. My husband and i will still end up paying out of pocket, which at the end of the day we will not be able to afford. Unfortuantly the financial aid advisiors they had there were no help at all.
Does anyone know of any other options for financial aid other than FASFA??

I have an AA already, so I was going to just apply to all the schools to see who will take me first, when I am ready.

I am 34, I have a teenaged son, in a relationship... and I am working full time at a surgery center.
