Hi,

I am taking ANP 101 at the Lawrence campus this semester. Due to work constraints, I know I won't get that A I want and need so desperately. I now have a new job with different hours so I can boost myself from the B to the A that I want and need to remain competitive at program application time.

I am considering taking ANP 101 online next semester when I retake the class but I cannot figure out what how the labs will work. This baffles me and if anyone who has ever taken this class online at the Lawrence campus can you give me some feedback on your experience, I would appreciate it.

Thanks!!!!

Just a quick question. Are you able to take out a private loan after the school year has started? Being unemployed its beginning to get a bit difficult to pay for daycare (soon to be preschool) and for transportation costs. My aunt is willing to cosign on a private loan, but I am unsure as to whether or not I could even do it since the semester is almost over. Does anyone know how these work?

Hello,

I will be graduating in December from a BSN program. YAY!!! On average how long does it take to receive clearance from the Board of Nursing to take the NCLEX? Essentially, how long after one graduates does it take to actually sit the NCLEX in this state?

Thank You

I am going to Ivy Tech right now and taking pre-reqs. I want to get into the ASN program. I would like to go on and get my Bachelor's and maybe even my Master's in Nursing. I know Ivy Tech is a great nursing school but they only have the associate's. What is a good school to go on to get my Bachelor's and maybe Master's? IPFW? I haven't heard great things about their nursing program but I don't know, I guess it's all hearsay. Any suggestions?? Thank you!!

I'm considering moving from Wisconsin to my home town of Indy, in part bacause of hiring freezes in my current town. What's the climate like in the Indianapolis nursing job circles? I'm wanting something outside of hospitals and LTC such as a clinics, podiatry, sports rehab, restorative care etc. Also, are there any good recruiters/web sites I should consider. Are the clinics usually associated with hospitals in which case hiring is handled through the hospital HR? (Almost all clinics here go through the hospitals)

Thanks

I'm still waffling between the two for spring online at Ivy Tech. Has anyone done either of these online and what can you recommend? They are both equally interesting subjects to me. At this point I'm just looking to have a schedule filler that I can pass with an A with minimal effort and least book expense. ;) I'm one co-req away from being done, just have to take the TEAS and wait for April. I need another class to take that is a prereq for BSN programs just in case I'm forced to go that route.

Hope everyone is having a great semester. :)
