Hello Everyone,

I have been searching high and low to find out the actual amount of hours a student is in lecture, lab, and clinical for Nursing I-IV in the PCCC (Passaic county college)/SCCC (Sussex county college) nursing program. I have called the college and been told they don't know for sure because scheduling is confusing, but I think they believe I am asking for the specific time/day of the class (ie: lecture MW 5-9, lab TR 5-9, clinical F 5-10), that is not what I am asking. I just want to know a weekly break down of the number of hours each semester. I looked up this info in the course search for both schools and the hours seem to stay the same throughout nursing I through nursing IV, but I believe that is an error considering the Nursing I is 7 credits, Nursing II is 8, and both Nursing III and IV are 9 credits so the hours should increase with each semester.
If anyone on here is (or was) in any of the nursing classes (I-IV), could you please let me know how long you are really in the lecture, lab, and clinical proportion of the program. Please specify what semester you're writing about.

Thank you!

Hi!

ADM 110, Keyboarding / computer skills for nurses, is shown as being a prereq to NURE130 effective Jan. 2011. Since I don't know when I will be "invited" to NURE130, I'm wondering if I should take this course now. For Jan., I am registered for A&P1, and Chem for health sciences (CHE 105).

Is this worth taking for January? Has anyone taken this class before and have any feedback? I don't know when it was originally offered, but see there are a few sections for Jan.

Thanks! :)

I decided late to apply for UMDNJ's Accel BSN program so I jut submitted my application, I know my chances are low since some people have already been accepted. I was just wondering if anyone knew what their average class size is (how many people they accept each term)? Does anyone know their average GPA of accepted students? If you were accepted, what was your GPA (if you don't mind saying)?

Hi:

I just found out I was accepted to the UCC / Trinitas cooperative ADN / RN program! :D

I have several pre-reqs to take - planning on taking A & P1 and Chem 105 together in Jan. Anyone else starting in Jan? What are you taking? I know I still have to wait to be invited to NUR 130, but I am still excited! :specs: This is a second career for me and I can't wait to get started.

For those who started taking pre-reqs at UCC recently, do you have any tips? Has your experience been good?

Thanks!

I was wondering whether anyone has attended the open house programs given by UCC / Trinitas? If so, did you find it to be helpful? There is one tonight - not sure I can make it. My application is already pending, but wondering if it is worthwhile to go . . .
