I was wondering if any of you thought certain nursing specialties would be more receptive to Complementary Alternative Medicine (CAM) and holistic nursing practices?

I know there is a lot of interest in Integrative Oncology in my area, and that many Oncology patients explore CAM therapies to augment their treatments.

Personally, I think holistic nursing belongs in ALL the specialties....

Thoughts?

Hello
I am looking for some books on holistic nursing, that are not texts books. I am looking for a book to give my gf for a present. She is an RN and is starting to pursue holistic nursing. She has gone on a couple weekend long seminars for holistic nursing and to get her certificate. I am not too familiar with holistic nursing but I would like to get a present that has something to do with it since she seems really interested in the topic.
I have searched on good for books on holistic nursing but all I get are text books. I am hoping to find something more like a coffee table book I guess you would call it. Or if anyone else has any good ideas about gifts that have to do with holistic nursing. Any help would be much appreciated.
thank you!
