Which states can you practice in?

    Does anyone know which states you can work in upon licensure and graduation of Excelsior's program? Thank you!

    You can work in whichever state you gain liscensure in upon passing the NCLEX. In most case, which school you go to does not depict which state you can work in.

    You can NOT gain licensure in CA.

    Glad I said most LOL. It doesn't surprise me that they can't in CA since the liscensing standards are a bit stricter in that state. I knew there were some schools that graduated students from could only lisence in certain states for whatecer reason, but didn't realize this was one of them.

    It's easier to ask where you cannot work. Ultimately, just California. But be informed, some states have additional requirements for licensure:
