- 0Feb 7, '13 by lfdfiremedicAnyone receive an email from Straighterline regarding any courses you took with them? Any idea what the email means? I heard Excelsior was not taking the credits from them as of a few weeks ago. Am I gonna have to repeat A and P? Completed it almost a year ago...
- 0Feb 8, '13 by JustBeachyNurse, LPNExcelsior has not accepted core courses like micro, A&P, developmental psych for some time now. "For the Excelsior College School of Nursing (SON), core degree requirements in Associate degree programs include Anatomy & Physiology, Microbiology, Life Span Developmental Psychology and Sociology. For Excelsior College SON Bachelorís degree programs, core degree requirements include Anatomy & Physiology, Microbiology, Psychology, Sociology, Statistics and Ethics". Source: Excelsior College - Transfer to Excelsior College - StraighterLineIf you were a business major at EC the A&P would be accepted for the science requirement but not acceptable fir nursing majors.
- 0Feb 8, '13 by TxffmedicMy understanding is that this policy went into effect Oct. 1, 2012 . I enrolled prior to this and took A&P 1 with lab through straighterline and excelsior excepted it. I have since contacted them and they state that they will except my A&P 2 with lab as well. I think this policy only effects you if you enroll after Oct. of 2012. However, you would need to confirm with excelsior. As to the OP's question, I responded to straighterlines e-mail but have not received a response.
