    Does Excelsior require LPNs to work a certain amt of hours before applying to their program or can you apply right after receiving your license?

    Technically you can apply as soon as you receive your license, however some who do have difficulty in some of the clinical applications and the clinical exam because they don't have experience working as a nurse. So it's relative.

    To apply you need to submit a copy of your current nursing license (among other documentation such as transcripts from previous college work, etc.)
