Yay passed A&P 2 through Straighterline. I'm doing transitions now and I acquired the recommended text book (from the content outline).. How did you all study for the Transitions to the Registered Professional Nurse Role exam? I also registered for the practice exams and took one already and am planning to study the questions and answers.. Any tips would be helpful.

Good luck studying this one now. Testing in a few weeks.

I'm studying as we'll but I'm using the EC content guide and an older version of the rec text

Hey, congratulations! Seems like you got through that Straighterline course fast... did you like it?

Hey!!

Thanks! Yeah I completed the course in about about 2 weeks, I loved it it was really interesting and not boring like I thought it'd be. The test questions were straight forward and fair. Some were hard though.. But all in all it was a good course and I had a good experience w/ Straighterline I must say!

Great! Hey, did you have to have the final exam monitored? Glad you liked the course... I will continue to recommend it for others... I sure liked doing Eng 101 through Straighterline. (It was long and tedious... lol... but SO much better than a classroom!!) Medical Terminology was great, too... if you have any time left on your subscription, you can probably knock that one out in 4-6 hours... 3 more credits, and interesting!!

Wow, how did you complete the course in two weeks?

Wow, how did you complete the course in two weeks?

Doing topics every single day til my eyes were veiny. LOL

Can you do Microbiology with Straighterline? If so how much are the classes? I need Microbiology and a Humanities class...

That's what I LOVE about self paced learning!! I work 3 12 hour night shifts and sleep all day... never any time during my 'work week' to do any studying. On my 4 days off, though, I can really devote a lot of time to studying. I took a Math class through ALEKS, and finished it in a week... but I spent 30-32 hours on it! Better than 16 weeks in a classroom, twice a week, for an hour each!

Now... I just need to get STARTED!! :)
