It has been a long time coming. I just registered for the CPNE last night. I want to thank all of the posters who have helped me along the way. I used this forum to fill in the gaps of the program. So thank you!

Great Job Orbit!!!!!!!!!

Can i ask you a few questions about your journey?

1) How long did this take you, from the time you enrolled until now?

2) Did you take the classes or test out option.

3) What do you think was the most challenging test?

4) Based on your experience would you recommend this to others?

Thanks

As a grad, I can definitely say it was worth it. I am happy with my decision, and I found gainful employment as a nurse within a month of me starting to fill out applications (but I will say just like any program, networking is huge in getting a job as a new grad). It took me 4 years start to finish, but I took like a year and a half off altogether in the middle, and I waited 8 months for CPNE. I chose to return to EC and am working on my BSN. Although I wasn't very happy with Excelsior while waiting for and dealing with the CPNE (I think any grads can relate to that feeling) I would do it again in a heartbeat.

I registered May of 2015. I had to test out of A&P and Micro because it had been over 5 years for both. I started nursing exams in June 2015. I chose to take all exams. I completed the last of them in February. I just finished both FCCA this last session. For me the most challenging was LS3. I would recommend this route for those who are disciplined, and can stay on track without the typical unit exams, quizzes, classroom environment.

I haven't gotten a date yet. I just received my study guide. I had it printed double sided with holes drilled. All delivered for about $32.

I just started the nursing program at Excelsior. (Got any books you wanna sell?)

I would also like to follow along with the rest of your journey if possible!

What route are you taking? Classes or test out? And are you done all of your pre-reqs?
