Hey guys Im doing excelsiors bridge program to my rn and will take my last test next tuesday then I will be able to start fccas...I heard the fccas are 8 weeks does anybody know if you can finish earlier? I'm not worried about the extra work I've already did about 50 credit hours of schooling since august and I've got a really good job offer as a rn when I finish so I'm trying to go ahead and wrap this stuff up..

No it's a class with a defined start & end date. One can take them separately or concurrently. So they can be completed in 2 8-week semesters or together in one 8-week semester.

Yup, fastest you can do it is 8 weeks if you do both at the same time (and pass them both).

Many students are doing them at the same time without issues, even though Excelsior recommends one at at time. I did with mine, did 1 class one week, the second class the next and alternated till I was done.

Thanks yall for the help I appreciate it.

are you seriousssssss nooooooooooo

Anyone know how consuming it is? Should I save some prereqs for the FCCA period and just start the nursing classes sooner? Im starting from scratch Micro then A&P. Clepping Sociology, Lifespan Psych, A+I Lit, Doing Math thru Aleks, English and Info lit through Excelsior. HELP!

You can only do FCCA when all classes are done. You can't start nursing classes until info lit, A&P & micro are done.

Has this changed?

I am doing both FCCA's right now, and also finishing my last course - Micro.

Have to be within 10 credits of completing the prerequisites on top of finishing all nurses exams
