Good Luck to everyone studying & getting ready for the finals !!! We are almost there !!! :)

I'm in the same boat! I'm pulling a couple all nighters this week to bust out LS 2 (Wednesday) and LS 3 (on Friday). I'm hoping I can register immediately after passing LS 3. I am really confused about what exactly the FCCA is.... I would have better luck finding Jimmy Hoffa than finding info about the FCCA. I don't want any help with it, but an idea of what exactly this thing is would be helpful. Oh well, I will find out soon enough!

Passed LS 3 today with a B! I thought it was easier than LS 1 and 2 but maybe that is because I have grown accustomed to the question style. Hopefully I can still make the cutoff date for FCCA this January. It was a big sacrifice getting all that done over the holidays while having two kids still in diapers. I plan to take both FCCA classes simultaneously but really don't know what to expect? Is that really possible while working full time and raising a family or should I space it out? I have 17 years of experience and got all A’s and B’s so far but don’t want to jam myself up so late in the game.

I'm set to start the FCCA that begins Jan 7 (a few days away). Good luck to everyone and hopefully we'll all be celebrating passing this test in March!

It’s official, I am in the FCCA scheduled for January 7!

Yay! Congrats!

Congratulations kitkat and nolee!!!

I passed both my FCCA's last night, too.:D

How long did it take you to get to that point. I'm just starting on Transition and hopefully will take that test by the middle of Feb.

Congrats for even getting this far. I'm just getting started. It took me a while to even build up to this point. How has the road been on the EC path since you first started. Was all of the exams based off of your study packets.

Awesome

Just a few weeks left of the FCCA and then off to study forthe CPNE. I am hoping to take the CPNEin June and the NCLEX by September. Letme know if you are in Florida and want to study for the CPNE or have recommendationsfor NCLEX prep. I also plan to take aCPNE prep class but have not decided which one to attend. One step at a time.

I averaged one class per month studying at least 10 long hard days for each class. The first two exams were the hardest mostly because I wasnt used to the exam process and my study habits were rusty. I was a machine by the time LS 1-3 came and now I can taste the end coming. There is no easy way, just read the materials and take the exam. I wasted a lot of time up front trying to find a short cut and there isn't one. LOL Good luck! You can do it!

I passed both FCCA final exams yesterday and am CPNE bound! All I can say is that the Care Plans Made Simple book saved my life. It really helped me understand how to apply the nursing process. Good luck everyone! You can do it!
