I don't know! I am still holding my breath that they will let me endorse into Calfiornia once I complete my BSN. I switched from EC to WGU to finish my BSN just for this reason

Hi all, as I am reading around this thread I cant help but to wonder if I was reading the right information on the CA BRN website, I thought they would accept an EC grad provided they have the right amount experience to meet the "standarrs" of the CA brn.... and now from what I am reading, it seems like its their call. What if you were an EC grad with the ADN and then went on to get a bsn through a "traditonal" or "accepted" school, would you have a probelm then with the CA brn?

Yes. They will always look at the source of your RN.

It only matters where you got your initial RN, it doesn't matter where your BSN comes from.

Yep this is true! I am VERY anger about this! California BRN is just awful. I contacted them and asked what additional clinical could I do to satisfy them. Keep in mind that I am currently employed and working in acute care as an RN. I was told to complete an approved ADN program. Wow! I can't believe this!
    That's California for you. Shameful.
