DONE! (With exams at least....)

Students Excelsior

Took LS3 today and passed with a B on the first try. All done with exams! Now just FCCA and CPNE to go.

But more importantly:

I can play World of Warcraft for the next few weeks and not feel guilty because I'm not studying! :woot:

Hello! Please contact me! I am taking the last exam in a couple of weeks as well and just called today about info on the FCCA. Looks like we will be taking it at the same time! :-)

Please EMAIL ME at [email protected] Also, anyone else reading this that is in the same "time frame" can also email me. Just put in the SUBJECT: Completed Excelsior Exams (so I know it isn't spam!) :-)

I would be careful about discussing the exams. Excelsior has made it clear that it is not a collaborative effort

Per Excelsior staff, if you are a student enrolled in the FCCA, it is NOT to be a collaborative effort. Collaborating with other students regarding the FCCA is a violation of EC's academic honesty policy. In this light, I am requesting that you do NOT discuss the FCCA exam itself on this forum. I know that many posts are of a vague nature, but I would hate for anyone's posts here to jeopardize his/her enrollment in the program, as violating academic honesty can result in dismissal from the program. Asking about things like cut-off dates, etc., is fine, but as far as content, or working through assignments ... that's a no-go.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions about this. Thanks!

As far as LS3 goes, I would highly recommend taking the practice exams. They were a big help in knowing what kind of information might be encountered on the real thing. This exam is kind of all over the place. It's hard to say what one area should be given emphasis. Use the content guide, and Study Group 101 was helpful as well.

I plan on taking the practice exam and I also have the med surge success, sg101 and the Saunders nclex review mixed in with simple nursing .com. I'm hoping this will be enough study material to pass LS3.

I'm on LS3 right now and expect to take the test the first week of January. I'm nervous about moving into the unknown but excited, too.

Congrats! I'm in a similar boat. This week is the last week of my last class too! I only have the FCCA and CPNE to do as well! Hopefully starting the FCCA in Jan as well.

I cannot wait to be done!!!

I felt that the practice exams were the least helpful for LS3 out of all 8 exams
