Hello, Violet. Unfortunately I am NOT yet to the CPNE; however, close! I would love to stay in touch with you though since I am within a few months or so of registering for the CPNE. Hope you find a study buddy.

If possible, please contact me regarding the FCCE. I will be doing that in January! Not sure what to expect. I was told I could register for "both" of the FCCE (2 hours each) at the same time. I do NOT want to do one in January and another one 8 weeks later! How much is the cost on that? How far in advance of the start date do you have to register? Thanks so much!

It's the FCCA, not FCCE - there is info about it on the EC website: Excelsior College | FCCA®

As for students discussing the FCCA, that is prohibited by EC's academic honesty policy. However, I can tell you that most students take both parts of the FCCA at one time. :) Good luck!

Hi HealthKibitz,

I would register for both at once. A lot of the reading is reading already done for other courses, so a lot of it is review, you're just applying the material more.

You can't register until you have finished all of your nursing theory exams. You can register up to and even a few days after the course start date. Currently it's $180 or $185 per course.
