  1. 0 ive heard u can choose your own clinical site with some schools unlike Excelsior. im doing RT to RN thru Excelsior now. have done two classes. any info/ recommendations is appreciated.

    EC has a list of affiliated hospitals in different regions - you can choose from those hospitals. This post has the sites listed:
    What are the CPNE locations? You can go to New York, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Ohio, Texas or Georgia it looks like.

    Usually students that have to find their own preceptors are doing an RN-to-something (BSN, MSN) program. For Excelsior, you have three regions from which to choose for your clinical exam, and each region has a number of sites.
