Hello all,

I got my cpne date for Jan. 11, 12, and 13th at Southern Regional Medical Center in Atlanta, GA. I've been studying hard but feel very nervous and scared. I really don't want to fail and lose $2500 down the drain!

Anyone testing soon?

Good luck, you know we're all rooting for you! If you haven't found it already, there is a Facebook group called "Let's Conquer the CPNE Beast Together" -- I recommend hopping on there and joining in. :)

Best of luck to you! I took the CPNE in Jan/04.

Okay, it's here. Six days from today, I will be taking the CPNE. I can't believe I've made it this far! I'm almost there. Just a little more to go....I'm pretty calm; excited actually and ready to have it over with! I'm going to go spend the weekend with my SO and the we will hit the road and head out for New York (about a 15 hour drive from where I am) early next week. I hope to be posting my "I passed the CPNE in Utica!!!" post soon. Thanks to everyone for all of the tips and advice!

BTW, I know there were a couple of folks testing in Utica before me; one this weekend I think. Please let us know how it turns out! I have read that Utica uses massive abd pads for the wound station and that several people failed for not unfolding it all the way or not putting the blue line up. I'll try to give everyone all the gory details ASAP.

Good Luck - take it one thing at a time - on Friday just focus on the labs, then one patient at a time-don't over think it - You got this!!!!!!!!

By the way they give you 15 min to look around the labs and they step out of the room - unwrap the ABD pads, try on gloves, I opened and tried everything made me feel more comfortable.
