Anybody took sociology,psychology thru CLEP?

Hi ,

I need to take Sociology,Psychology and Written English prereqs .I heard about CLEPand Straighterline .Please give me advice as I already finished all theory exams and FCCA.I am preparing for CPNE.

I still have a hard time distinguishing between the two. Sociology, Psychology, social psychology....ugghhhhh!! But I did CLEP them both and passed back in 2002. I really don't think the information has changed, but what do I know. I will tell you that instantcert.com has wonderful flash cards to supplement your studies. I used it to pass a few general eds for EC. I would also check into the CLEP study guides by REA on amazon.com or eBay. Be sure to read the reviews by previous testers before you select your choice of study materials, though. Good luck on your final three exams! And CONGRATULATIONS on passing the nursing theory exams! If you survived those, CLEP exams shouldn't be an issue for you.

I took CLEP for both sociology and intro psych - not hard, can spend 2-3 weeks to prep for each without any difficulties.

I took the CLEP for Sociology and Human growth and Development (developmental psyc) one month ago on the same day. I used pass your class books that I bought on Ebay. The books covered everything you need to know and were easy reads.
