worker's comp

  1. Hi, I am starting a staffing agency in New Mexico and so far have applied to only one PEO/ASO and have recieved a quote of 5,000/yr for worker's comp. Does anyone know if this is a good price or not? The company I went through operates as a ASO in New Mexico. If I found a company that operated as a PEO would the premium be less??? Thanks for any advice!!

Doesn't New Mexico have a state insurance fund? That would be the way to go. I use a PEO call Accord. They are a nationwide company and will be able to provide comp in New Mexico. I'm impressed you know about POE's. It is a great solution for comp, but most don't know about them.
