I am curious - I work with a special population; one which often needs or requires basic counseling (postpartum women, primarily) with the potential for the need for referral for more intensive care. Is there a program that a nurse can go through to be able to provide basic level screening and counseling services?
It's my passion. And the hospital scene is really dragging me down and I want and need the flexibility that an entrepreneurial venture would offer me. I was a doula and a childbirth educator for 7 years before nursing, so I would like to stay with my passions. Thanks!
