Up and running nurse agency needing help

Hi All,

This is my first post and I am so happy I found this website!

I need a little help; I have successfully started a travel nurse co and employ 1 nurse (a family member). We just finished our first contract but need some help and ideas on finding another contract. It is a little urgent as I don’t want to lose my nurse she will stay as long as I have work. Our first contract was fairly simple as it was a local hospital and they needed nurses so it was a done deal. I settled with pay rate at $63.50 per hour which I thought was super successful for my first contract. The local hospitals no longer have a need for our services but am getting a cold shoulder and run around when trying other hospitals even in other states. My nurse has a license in, PA, CA, OH, WV, FL all current.

Another thought I had was partnering up with a larger agency since they have there feet in the door even though they will want a % of the contract at least I have work for my nurse, anyone know of any agencys that allow partnering?

BTW: we are in PA, Started business in December 2008 and first contract was Feb 9th 2009

Thanks in advance,
Jacob
