    I've been thinking about this for a while now. I'm an LPN and have been for about 3 years now. I'm thinking about going to school to get my RN, but I haven't decided yet. One thing I would love to do is start a ltc facility. I'm just not sure exactly how to go about doing it or if it's even possible for an LPN. I could really use some advice. Oh I'm not sure if it makes a difference but I would be starting it in Virginia.

    There are so many regulations in long term care. In most states you have to complete a determination of need to see if your state thinks there is a need for more skilled beds.AND....it costs millions of dollars. Why in the world would you want to put yourself through that?
