Contracts

What sort of general information would a nurse want to request wehn negotiating a contract with a facility?

Is it built into the law, most likely this varies somewhat state to state, that you receive overtime (X & 1/2) for OT etc...

Basically is EVERYTHING negotiated? Everything in print.. or assumptions made?

Thank you in advance for the feedback...

B

Default contracts
Nothing is built in. Some hospitals want a flat rate and some want a base rate with overtime put in. Some just pay low with no overtime. Every hospital is different. Some give you a contract and say take it or leave it. The hardest part is getting past the receptionist.
