Anyone own a nursing supply store?

Hello all,
I hope everyone is doing well. Lately the idea of opening a nursing/medical supply store has been on my mind. I am thinking about carrying uniforms, supplies, gifts for medical people. In my area there is a medium sized hospital and lots of MD's offices, nursing homes, home health agencies, and we are located right off of a major interstate. Does anyone know, or have you started a business such as this? Just wanting a little information, like cost in starting up and how long before a profit was made..... any info will be great.
