Agency/Registry that work with independent contractors

I worked as an IC in southern CA last year using my S-Corp. I would like to work in northern CA doing the same. I have thought about trying to obtain a contract directly with the hospital but after reading many posts on this site I am having some second thoughts. If I could find an agency or two that I can use my S-corp with then I would enjoy the benefits without the hassle.
Does anyone know of or work with a company that uses IC??

Thanks so much!
K

Hello Kraze,
I have a list of agencies that will contract with independents. I think it is quite extensive with 36 different agencies. E-mail me if you want it.

LPNs might be able to do the same thing as RNs in contracting out. I don't see why not. From my experience, I have not met an LPN who is an IC. Perhaps you might want to start your own thread for LPNs who are independent contractor.

You must be really good at the business end of being an independent contractor. Check out some of the web sites listed in this thread that others have posted in the last year. You can google "independent nurse contractor" and find more information that way too.

Hello Rdaven1,

Have been scouring the internet for agencies working with ICs when I came across your post. Eureka! Thank you for posting! I would so appreciate a copy of your agencies if you still have it. Wish you a very Happy New Year!
