Songs to play in the Waiting Room

  1. So yesterday some of us were joking around about what songs we wish we could just play over and over again in the waiting room.

Top one for us: "You can't always get what you want" by the Stones. Not all the verses are applicable, but the corus sure sounds good!

"You can't always get what you want / You can't always get what you want / You can't always get what you want / But if you try sometimes you just might find / You just might find / You get what you need"

What song(s) would you like to have played in your waiting rooms?

How about the Velvet Underground's "I'm waiting for the Man"?

    (I'm waiting for my man
    Twenty-six dollars in my hand
    ... ... ... ....
Feel sick and dirty, more dead than alive
    I'm waiting for my man

    ... ... ... ....

Here he comes, hes all dressed in black
    ... ... ... ....
Hes never early, hes always late
First thing you learn is you always gotta wait
    I'm waiting for my man

    etc. etc. etc.)

For all our drug seeking clients!!!

I'm not sick, but I'm not well
And I'm so hot 'cause I'm in hell

How about "Hit the Road Jack" for all the triage complainers who had to wait two whole hours to be seen for an ear ache they've had for 2 months?

"Push It" by Salt n' Peppa works for CPR too, as well as the Jeopardy theme song, but "Push It" is the most fun of the two...
