I don't know of any in Illinois, or Indiana; BUT there is a great one on ER and Nursing Management in LAS VEGAS (I want to go:o ) but from my blue, sad face you can see I can't. But good luck on finding one closer to Illinois, or Indiana. Sorry I am no help.

The ENA (emergency nurses association) is located in Chicago. Get on the internet and join and then you can find out where everything is. I live near Peoria, IL and the local AACN trauma conference is March 21st all day. If you are interested, pm me. take care and good luck.

I'm on the ENA Illinois State Education Council...there is a seminar on ESI Triage coming up in April in Chicago. Another in September in the Bloomington area. And a trauma seminar in November...location TBA.

Are you affiliated with a hospital...because there are many things out there that your hospital may be aware of.

There's a trauma conference hosted by Clarian Health in Indianapolis coming up...March or April, can't remember. It's at Primo's banquet hall on the south side of Indy. I'll have to look at my brochure when I get home. If I forget, PM me! :)

The conference I was talking about is on March 12th. Should be good. Several NPs talking, as well as Brian Sloan who used to play basketball for IU and is now either an ER or sports med doc there, not sure which. I'm not sure if I'm more excited about him or the conference, hehe. ;)
