New Pain Med...

by mwboswell Premium Member

Has anyone heard or been using a new Schedule II Opiod pain med "Nucynta" yet?
It's being promoted by Ortho-McNeil.
Apparently it has Mu-opioid as well as non-opiod properties.

Anything anyone?

It is. I'm not sure we need another schedule II analgesic. I don't think I would have heard of it if it wasn't for the op. I'd like to read about nurses experiences with the drug, before it comes to my hospital.
