New nurse to the ED and looking for some good literatureRegister Today!
- by agrooters4 Jul 12I am interested to know if anyone uses any good resources for working in the ED. Books, small flip charts, resource sheets. I know the hospital has policy and procedures, but I'm more so interested in some good reading at home, or tools to use on the job. What are some of you using?
- Jul 14 by turnforthenurseRNGet Sheehy's book on Emergency Nursing. It's like the ER nurse's bible, lol. As for apps, I personally like CriticalCare (the icon has a mediastinum in blue with a red heart and ECG tracing), ACLS manual, 3in1 Lab Values+, DripsManager, Micromedex, Medscape, 10 second NIHSS stroke scale, BlueCard, and PALS Advisor.
