Morphine shortage?

There's some kind of manufacturing issue with the 2mg Abbott morphine syringes, which are probably used more than any other.

We just can't get them, and of late have been ordering our 2mg/ml morphine from a compounding pharmacy which also supplies us with Dilaudid PCAs.

I sometimes wish there were a Dilaudid shortage. We could post a sign in triage and reduce our daily census by at least 25%.
