Loss of Equipment

by ecat81

Everyone is guilty of taking someone elses cords to monitor patients or leave them in the ICU/Surgery when transferring a patient. How does your ER keep up with their equipment i.e.: cables, thermometers, dynamaps, pumps, etc? Your input will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Default Re: Loss of Equipment
what we do is we wait on the equipment to be switched out, or take an equal number of equipment given, just all to be fair. i know some facilities specifically tag their equipment or engrave what can be engraved. I just see it as a cleaning problem.
