Happy Emergency Nurses' Week!

For what it's worth, I appreciate all my fabulous ED RN coworkers! Glad to be among some great folks here, too. Have a great week! May you not receive unworthy trinkets/junk/gifts from management.

I'm just back to emergency since a few weeks ago. Our manager wrote Happy Emergency Nurse's Week on the white board. So we don't have to worry about useless trinkets.

Our dept. did nothing for it, but yesterday when I checked my work email before leaving there was a new email celebrating this week Biomedical Engineer week which told the history of their department and what wonderful things they do...

Yeah, it seems everyone has a "week" now; it's getting a little silly. "Happy Nose Pickers' Week!" Ha ha.

We didn't get anything, although we did have a rather nice weekend. Doesn't mean I didn't still get super "special" patients (including one that bit our doctor, arrghh), but it wasn't bad. I'll take it!

This is my First Happy Emergency Nurse's Week as a RN, we did get very nice microfleese jackets, with the ER embossed on the front, very warm jackets, I'm in south Texas! HA But if I go anywhere cold I'm covered!

Actually we had a great weekend too, Saturday we only saw 17 after midnight and Sunday we only had 20ish. Nice and slow.
